New Aquila Competition Leotard

As promised, as part of our preparation for the new competition season (starts October!), we have a new competition leotard! We have researched the various suppliers to find a garment that is striking and modern, whilst keeping the cost down. We have chosen the ‘Glam’ leotard from ‘The Zone’ – www.the-zone.co.uk. As before, the club will purchase a limited number that can be hired for competition at £ 3 per rental on a first come first serve bases. Or if you prefer, you can purchase your own from the Zone direct – 01706 368819. The leotard costs £ 22.95 – £ 26.95, dependent on size selection. Unfortunately, the supplier can’t accommodate a boy’s leotard, but we will have the order details form an alternative vendor shortly – don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten!

New website launched!!!

Aquila launches the new website! It’s been a long time in planning and development, but we’re finally ready to release the first phase. There’s still a lot of work to be done to improve the service, and we’ll continue to make further updates and additions over the coming months. The majority of the work will be development behind the scenes to help manage the site content and club management, but we’ll also be adding a new member login area to manage fees, change details and pay online. Watch this space!

Aquila Christmas Party 2011 is on!

The Aquila Christmas Party 2011 is on! This year we are celebrating at the Freshbrook Community Centre. Tickets are priced at £ 4 per person, or £ 10 per family of 4. Tickets can be purchased from your coach, or you can email to confirm your place and have the ticket cost added to your next term fees. You can also pay on the door. The party starts at 7pm, and will round up at 11pm. There will be a disco, licenced bar, buffet, raffle, and of course, the Aquila Awards for 2011. Feel free to download the poster in the attachment.
