About Your Aquila Trampoline Club

Aquila is a relatively small club, with a growing community of some 50+ members. The club started in 2002, and offers both Trampoline and Double Mini Trampoline (DMT) to all ages, from 5 years, up to adult.

We are a competitive club and boast a wealth of coaching experience, from level 1 assistant coach, to Level 5 High Performance Coach – something no other club in Swindon can offer! We encourage coaching mentoring programs, and as a result, many of our trampoline gymnast are coaches themselves. Most of our coaches and officials are voluntaries, and we operate as a ‘not for profit’ organisation raising enough funds to purchase and maintain our own professional equipment, with support from the school.

Coaching is a skill in which qualified professionals enable others to teach themselves. It’s about installing confidence and helping individuals to realise their own potential. In many respects, coaching is both an art, and a science. Aquila is lucky to have a fantastic team of coaches and officials that really care about the individual. We’re not looking for the next British Champion, but we’ll we do our best to make one!
